Official: AC Milan sign Suso from Liverpool

The 21-year-old made only one appearance for Brendan Rodgers' side this season and has joined the Serie A club on a permanent deal

AC Milan have completed the signing of Suso from Liverpool.

The 21-year-old's only appearance for Brendan Rodgers' side this season came in their League Cup shootout victory over Middlesbrough in September.

Suso's contract with Liverpool was set to expire in the summer but the Serie A club have opted to sign the midfielder on a permanent deal in the January transfer window.

Suso joined Liverpool from Cadiz in 2010 but made just 14 first-team appearances during his spell at Anfield, which also included a season-long loan at Almeria.
