Cristiano Ronaldo's super-fan son meets Lionel Messi

The Real Madrid forward was relaxing with his family backstage in Zurich when the Barca star walked by, allowing Cristiano Jr to meet one of his footballing idols

Lionel Messi has a super-fan in the form of Cristiano Ronaldo's son - and they met at the Fifa Ballon d'Or award ceremony on Monday.

Cristiano Ronaldo Jr, who is four years old, tentatively approached the Argentina international behind the scenes and the Real Madrid superstar told his Barcelona rival Messi: "He always watches videos of us and he speaks about you!"

The starstruck youngster was then told "don't be shy!" by his famous dad, who claimed his third Golden Ball in Zurich.
